The Zanzibar Government Hospital in Mnazi Mmoja, Stone Town, provides students with exposure to a distinctive disease profile shaped by the island's geography and demographics. Malaria, dengue, typhoid, and maternal health challenges feature prominently, while the island's relative isolation from the mainland creates a self-contained clinical ecosystem that sharpens diagnostic independence.
