I’m Marina, I’m from Brazil. I’m a paediatrician and a fellow in infectious diseases, and I’m here in Kenya to do a medical elective. The biggest difference so far, I think, is seeing how, in a different cultural context, and in a context where there is a lack of resources, people deal with that to manage infection prevention and the treatment of infections. It’s been really interesting to learn how people deal with all these differences so far.
