Student: Create Fundraising Account

Elective Africa assists with fundraising for those seeking the help of their friends, family and community to enable them go for education and volunteer trips to Africa, whether individually or as a group. To access this facility, one needs to:

1. First make a decision to participate in your volunteer or medical elective in africa program
2. Then submit an application for the program through the regular channel at http://www.electiveafrica.com/apply

3. Followed by receiving feedback that their application was received, reviewed and accepted
4. Make a program placement reservation deposit of US$ 300; this deposit will count towards your total program reservation fee
5. Once the program reservation deposit has been made, we will provide you with access to our fundraising application to facilitate your fundraising. There is a one-time application access fee of US $25 per student accessing the fundraising application
6. We will provide group access for those going for a trip as a group and want to fundraise as a group

Please note that in addition to facilitating your fundraising, we are happy to provide you with unique souvenirs and gifts of African origin that you can provide as a token of appreciation to donors

Where funds raised do not meet the total program costs, the balance will be the responsibility of the student

If you have already completed steps 1 through 4 above and are ready to access the fundraising facility, please pay the one time US$ 25. Send an email to Elective Africa Accounting at accounting at electiveafrica.com.  Please indicate clearly that the payment is for a fundraising application access. Your application access will be set up within 48 hours of your paying the access fees.
