Medical and Healthcare Programs

Elective Africa facilitates medical student elective placements abroad.

For over 10 years we have worked with community health centers and teaching hospitals in Africa. We provide medical students with a rare opportunity for hands-on learning experience, cultural exchange, and medical volunteer service in Africa.

We organize placements for Medical, Nursing and Midwifery students as well as medical camps for volunteer doctors. Placements range from Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Radiology, Surgery and Emergency care among others. We currently run programs in Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Malawi.
