A Perfect Ending To Medical School

The 4 weeks I spent working at Mt. Meru Regional Hospital in Arusha, Tanzania were some of the most memorable of my life entire medical school journey. Arusha is a wonderful place to call home for one month and the staff at Mt. Meru was so warm and welcoming towards us as medical students. Given that the hospital is regional referral center, there is a large volume of patients and the variety of unique pathology that provided a wonderful learning opportunity to all kinds of students.

I am so grateful for this wonderful opportunity provided by Elective Africa  and I leave Arusha with a new appreciation for Tanzanian culture and all of all the new friends I made along the way. These couldn't have been a more perfect ending to medical school.
