A journey through the Great Rift Valley to Kenya's premier wildlife reserve - the famous Masai Mara. This is an exploration of the diverse wildlife crossing rolling plains dotted with acacia trees. Here you have excellent chances of seeing the "Big 5" - lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. The varied wildlife in their natural environment, the colours and culture of the local Masai people, along with a unique nature walk in the area come together to provide a spectacular safari.

Itinerary

 

Day 1 Masai Mara
  • Pick up by tour vans from agreed location at 8.00AM
  • Depart from agreed location for a drive southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the view point with picnic lunch on the way arriving Masai Mara in the afternoon.
  • Arrive in the game reserve. Check in at the tented camp with facilities of hot shower and toilet inside the tent. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos and Rhinos plus other animals
  • Dinner at overnight accommodation at tented camp
Day 2 Masai Mara
  • Spend the entire day game viewing the tree studded grasslands and hills in search of wildlife and enjoying the escape
  • Evening game drive and an option to visit a maasai village
  • Dinner at overnight accommodation at tented camp
Day 3 Nairobi
  • Early morning game drive, followed by breakfast, OR breakfast followed by late morning game drive
  • Depart late morning for Nairobi
  • Arrive Nairobi around 4.00PM, dropped off at your hotel
