School Expeditions

Explore the World. Impact Lives.

School Expeditions

Elective Africa offers community service learning and volunteer abroad experience for students who are freshly from high school or are taking a gap break from University.

Engage in meaningful volunteer work, learn about complex social issues and develop impactful solutions, connect with people from different cultures, and journey to places you’ve only read about in books or seen online. The project work involves volunteering in a group from 12 individuals while working with local communities to create impacts in their lives. School expeditions also involve exploring through Mounting climb excusions, safaris and local tours in Migori Kenya.

We are flexible to customize placements to desired durations and typically operate from  2 to 4-week volunteer programs.

Education Improvement

Onyalo Primary School lies at the heart of the rural community in Migori with classroom populations up to 60 pupils. Volunteer as a group on gap year and summer school expeditions and provide the education development and through inspiration and confidence that is passed on to the children, spend time with the children for their personal development, adding a global dimension to their education.
